Copaiba Essential Oil by Pranrom "Copaiba is a non-thorny tree native to South America, from the Fabaceae family. Called Copaïba by the indigenous people of Amazonia, the latter use the oleoresin exuded from its trunk to treat wounds and ulcers . The oleoresin in question is called copaiba balsam and contains a high proportion of aromatic molecules. Steam distillation of this resin allows obtaining copaiba essential oil with one of the most unique molecular compositions, as it is the essential oil with the highest concentration of caryophyllene (up to 88%). Copaiba balsam is used in refined perfumery. Its balsamic and woody scents are used to reinforce oriental or woody accords. Its relaxing and earthy fragrance, combined with orange and mandarin, provides balance and harmony
