AROMATHERAPY

An essential oil is a liquid, concentrated and complex extract, obtained by steam distillation. of aromatic plants or parts of those plants.

Essential oils are volatile aromatic compounds extracted from the bark, flowers, leaves, roots, seeds, stems and other parts of plants.

They give them their distinctive aroma and play a crucial role in the survival of the plant as a whole.

From a pharmacological point of view, the properties of essential oils are highly variable due to the heterogeneity of their components.

Some of these actions, due to their effects on the skin, have also found their application in cosmetics.
